Bangkok May Be Swamped By Rising Seas, Sinking Land by 2030

via internet science tech A new report from the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the International Co-operation Agency highlights the imminent climate change threat to Bangkok. The report says that much of the city is already below sea level and the ground is sinking by 1.5-5 centimeters per year.
